Our flight from Melbourne Australia to Christchurch New Zealand had us there by mid afternoon. A few hours drive in the rain landed us in the small town of Geraldine for the night. The next day was cool but sunny for the scenic drive to Queenstown. The next 1-1/2 days we were actually on our Doubtful Sound cruise (next section of photos).
After returning to Queenstown we met friends for dinner who formerly lived near us but now reside in Kansas. We had learned that our paths would cross for one evening in Queenstown. A long way to go to meet for dinner but such is life!
