We really liked Salzburg. We had spent a couple days there previously on a Rick Steves tour so it was nice to come back. The 3rd Festival for Brass and Wind Music was going on which brought more than usual entertainment to the city. We also made a day visit to Berchtesgaden, Germany, which was the site of Hitler's retreat and complex of underground bunkers built by the Nazis.
