The final destination of our trip was Barcelona, Spain. We had visited Spain previously but not as far east as Barcelona having decided it was best approached from France. The big attrraction here is Gaudi artitecture. We discovered that as strange as some of Gaudi’s work appears, he was obvioisly a brilliant, innovative person. His extensive study of nature and use of nature’s construction in his designs was fascinating.
We found Barcelona to be a great city to visit and very tourist friendly. They have a great metro system, enjoyable restaurants and we discovered another very enjoyable B&B.
