Italy 2002 was our "retirement" trip! We spent most of October in italy. We were with a Rick Steves tour group for about 20 days starting in Varenna and ending in Rome. We then returned to Florence and Lucca, then Milan for about a week on our own. This map depicts the major overnight places although there were numerous additional towns visited. Our photos are arranged: Northern, Middle and Southern areas.
