Orvieto was the longest day trip we made, almost 2 hours. It was  not all that far, just no fast way to get there! The caves under the city were quite fascinating. We planned to tour tiny Civita di Bagnoregio bt it got late so there is only a photo of it in the distance. Look at our 2002 Italy trip for some photos of it.
