We were completely unprepared for the number and variety of animals we encountered. One of the big surprises was their proximity to us! Game drives were in open vehicles (photo in misc. section). The animals seemed to be accustomed to the vehicles and as long as everyone remained quiet and seated, the animals were not disturbed. This page only contains a small selection of the photos we took. It is surprising how much a photo of an elephant in Botswana looks like one in a photo taken in Zambia! There are a few videos, so be patient while they load to your computer.
