After our two weeks in Locarno we took the train to Ferrara, Italy with changes in Bellinzona, Milan and Bologna. We arrive within five minutes of our scheduled time! The owner of the guest house picked us up at the train station to take us to our home for the next week. Ferrara is a very old city dating to at least 11th or 12th century. We enjoyed Ferrara and used it as our central point for daily trips to surrounding towns.
