Sitka was our next stop. For the first time we had the company of the larger cruise ships. The crowd in Sitka relfected what we observed anchored in the harbor!

Sitka has a large historical park with a number of totem poles along a walking path. From the park we walked to the Alaska Raptor Center where they treat injured raptors. Many are able to return to the wild. It was interesting to see where a bird in rehab can practice flying!

On our departure we passed the dormant volcano, Mount Edgecumbe.
