Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is a busy larger city. We were more comfortable driving in the smaller towns. Lake Trasimeno is a large lake near Tuscany. Cortona was made famous by Francis Mayes in "Under The Tusacan Sun". The end of a day was spent at a wine tasting/dinner at a winery west of Umbertide. (This was two days of sightseeing)
