Spoleto was the closest “large” town to us and home to the famous, annual, performing arts Spoleto Festival. It is also a maze of frescoed churches and a Roman aqueduct. 

Trevi was the picturesque hill town in our own backyard. As you can see, Trevi had very steep streets!
