Russ & Barb’s Travels

Santiago

Santiago is the capital and largest city in Chile. The elevation for most of the city is btween 1650 and 2100 feet. We had part of the day to see the city before our evening flight back home. Hence we picked a hotel in the center of the city so that we could easily walk to some local attractions

The nearby Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts was near, open, and free! We walked to a square that was full of people, relaxing in the sun, picnicking, children chasing pigeons and a dance group.
