Among the many scenic places in this area is Mt. Rigi which is close to Luzern (Lucerne). Mt. Rigi while only 5900 ft. ASL is noted for its 360 degree view of a several hundred mile portion of Switzerland. We reached the peak by train, then boat on Lake Luzern, then cog train to Rigi Kulm. Not surprising, there is a nice cafeteria at the top to satisfy the touirist crowd.

On our return we walked around some of the downtown Luzern. We had to show Leslie the famous Chapel Bridge and its overhead paintings
