This hike, known as the Panoramaweg, is the one of the longest hikes we did. It is only about 4000 ft ASL but about five miles. We took the cable car from Meiringen to Reuti. From Reuti the hike goes to Brunig where we caught the train back to Meiringen. The trail goes through some woods but mostly open pastures as well as near small villages and farms. Some of the trail coincides with a short trail designed for children that has several marble runs. In these one drops marbles at the top and watches them roll down the chutes through various obstructions.
