In September we, along with Barb’s sister and brother-in-law, traveled to Switzerland. We had an apartment in Meiringen on the top floor of a lovely home we had arranged through Airbnb. Having visited the area previously we chose Meiringen this time as a base for our two week trip. With our train passes we toured and hiked daily in the Berner Overland region. After our two week stay we traveled by train to Bacharach Germany where we had arranged a two week stay through Untours. Barb’s sister and brother in law traveled to Italy.
