Ballenberg is a 50 acre open air museum park at the end of Lake Brienz. The park has more than 100 traditional and historic buildings from every region of Switzerland. All of the buildings are furnished and many have craftspeople working in them demonstrating traditional crafts.
The park is laid out roughly as a Swiss map with entrances at both the east and west. The park is far too extensive to see all of the buildings in one visit. By lunch time we realized that and started viewing exteriors only on many buildings. We did not record the identity of most of the buildings we photographed, hence most are not captioned.
