The Leiden Botanical garden is part of Leiden University. Founded in 1575, it is the oldest university in The Netherlands. The Botanical gardens dates to 1590!
Nazi bombing totally flattened Rotterdam in WW II. The rebuilding shows the varied and modern architecture. Rotterdam lays claim to the largest port in Europe and third largest in the world. On a harbor cruise there we could see how vast the harbor is. The cube houses in Rotterdam are particularly unique. It would be fun to see the inside of one!
