One could have easily spend the entire two weeks visiting museums! We had visited the Van Gogh and Anne Frank house in Amsterdam on a previous trip. Most museums do not lend themselves to photos and some prohibit them, hence there are a limited number of photos here.
Leiden had an old windmill that had been turned into a museum. This mill had been for making flour. Some others had been sawmills.
The M..C. Escher museum in The Hague is located in the old Lange Voorhout Palace which in itself made that visit worthwhile .
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam holds many paintings by the old Dutch masters. The size of some of these is impressive.
