Russ & Barb’s Travels
T. Roosevelt National Park
Theodore Roosevelt National Park is easily overshadowed in the public’s attention by the popular neighbors Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The park is really in three parts that are not connected. The South unit, which is the only one we visited, is 70 miles from the North unit. In the middle between them is the Elkhart Ranch unit, the location of Roosevelt’s second ranch, which no longer exists. We thought the area we visited was well worth the major part of a day we were there.
