In October 2011 we spent 13 days on the Rick Steves tour of Western Turkey. This map depicts our itinerary and major stops. The railroad between Istanbul and Ankara was under repairs so our group traveled by bus instead of the planned overnight train.
After the tour we spent four days on the Greek island of Samos which is just off the Turkey coast. We then flew to Athens where we spent two days before returning home.
