Italy/Austria/Germany 2015
In June 2015 we returned to some of our favorite locations to show our granddaughter, Maggie, why we love traveling in Europe so much. This was some of her introduction to other parts of the world before launching into her college career. She invited one of her girlfriends, Natalie, also a new high school graduate, to accompany her.
Maggie chose Rome, Venice and Munich. We added Innsbruck to be able to admire the mountains as well as break up a long train ride.
We rented apartments for three nights each in Rome and Venice. Innsbruck and Munich were hotels so that we could stay in the heart of the old cities.
Our travel between cities was by train. This allowed relaxing scenery viewing, and at times short naps.
This was a short two week trip but a thrilling success by all measures!
Since we had been to each of these places previously, the photos for this trip are not extensive.
